[REQUEST] Lost & Found / Animal Rescue extension

This is a request for a recommendation for a Lost & Found type extension/plugin to work well with WordPress.

Specifically, it is to support the ongoing Animal Rescue in Japan, post earthquake and disaster, but it is hoped that it could also be made available to other groups following other disasters.

Basically, we are looking for something that would allow us to post Found animals, or Lost requests for information.

I had a thought that a “dating site” type software might work, e.g. where you have “I am male … female … Looking for … male … female” and types, it ought be easy to hack it, to change it for various animals and their types, location, looks etc.

Anyone interest in working on development of such an application or plugin would be greatly appreciated.
