request: match on filename

I have tried to match wp / lr with the total syncronization tool. Unfortunately only 45 of 3200 files are matched properly.

I actually copied the media library original files (without the generated resolution variants) to an local folder to syncronize. Was hoping those would match all 100%.

If the match could be made on filename they all would get linked 100%. Is this possible? Would save tons of time.
