Request: nest FIFU menu under Tools

  • FIFU is a very handy plugin but I believe it belongs under the Tools or Settings menu rather than in the main WordPress Admin sidebar. It is a utility and as such does not warrant a top menu level position. Once we configure it there is little reason to visit the settings again, and therefore there is no need to see it all the time.

    Can we at least have a checkbox option to nest it under Tools? Perhaps this is unchecked by default. Thanks for considering it.

    So it’s similar to Yoast SEO, which is a widely popular plugin for WordPress. However, in this case, we have FIFU Cloud, a service that some users may want to access daily. Additionally, new services are being introduced. It’s worth noting that some users have encountered difficulties in finding the FIFU settings, even within the left menu. Finally, Tools/Settings are typically associated with native WordPress features and functionality.

    Currently, our priorities lie elsewhere, such as documentation and translation. While we appreciate your suggestion, implementing it is not a priority at the moment. However, we will keep it in mind for the future as more users may require it. Thank you for being the first to bring it up. I will keep this topic open.
