    Dear WordPress,

    Would it be possible to update WordPress’ Detailed Plugin Guidelines to require plugin external links to open in a new tab or window? Examples

    Until then, is it acceptable to ask plugin developers to change the behavior of their external links?

    Any and all comments or opinions concerning this request are welcome ??
