Request: Option to disable WordPress’ HTML re-writing

Hi all, I’d love to have an option where I could completely disable WordPress’ automatic HTML editing. Yes I really want to insert a div there, and no I don’t appreciate you changing that div to a p and moving the closing tag to the current line every single time I edit that post.

If this is possible for me to do now then I’d appreciate some hints in the right direction! Thanks ??
