Request: set date link to permalink

  • Hi,

    I made five pull requests just now which should not change anything for existing installs. I would also like the date link changed from linking to the user profile to instead linking to the individual tweet, which I feel is more in line with conventions, including on twitter.com.

    One of the pull requests adds the option to make the widget title a link and with the follow button below I think it makes more sense for the dates to link to the individual tweets.

    Another fixes a bug where $permalink was not set correctly, but wasn’t noticed because $permalink is never called. Naturally, this will need to be accepted before making the date link change.

    Let me know what you think. It could be done as an option, but I think that’s overkill and it really should just link to the individual tweet. There’s only one line to change so I can do it quickly for you.

    Brian,

    With the widget title now linking and the optional follow button functionality etc. I think linking to the tweet (from the date) seems good. It would also provide access to the profile from that end point (from a UX perspective) anyway.
