request to change "Email me whenever" label

Here’s a simple relabeling request that would clear up confusion in the Dashboard.

Currently, the Settings > Discussion label reads:

Email me whenever > Anyone posts a comment
> A comment is held for moderation

The first line implies that “me” is the admin, when in fact it’s really the “author” of the post/page who receives auto-notification of an approved comment.

A simple way to relabel these settings would be to split them up into two distinct parts, perhaps like this:

Email the author whenever > Anyone posts a comment
Email the admin whenever > A comment is held for moderation

Or a better solution would be to recode, re-sequence, and relabel this into three distinct parts to provide a comment notification setting for admins who want to know what’s going on, like this:

Email the admin whenever > A comment is held for moderation
Email the admin whenever > Anyone posts a comment
Email the author whenever > Anyone posts a comment
