Hi there, after deleting this plugin I see this request in the console for every user.

If I upload a new avatar, and delete this, the issue returns

    Request URL: https://i1.wp.com/leira_letter_avatar
    Request Method: GET
    Status Code: 400
    Remote Address:
    Referrer Policy: strict-origin-when-cross-origin

How do I get rid of these requests?

Hi there, I disabled the Letter avatars in the plugin, before deactivation, and the standard avatar is back, I guess this is the way to break the link?

    Thanks!

    Hi @carsten-lund

Leira Letter Avatar plugin does not make use of the url you mention (i1.wp.com).
Actually that url belongs Site Accelerator (Formerly Photon) from Jetpack plugin.
    Check out this link https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/

If you do a quick google search for “i1.wp.com requests” you will find more information related.

I will take a look to the scenario you describe in your second comment. It could be a bug.

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me so quick, I don’t know what’s causing this issue, but as said, the issue was gone, after using the method of disabling the Letter avatar in settings before deactivation/deletion.

    Regards

    Thanks @carsten-lund

Version 1.3.1 is going to fix this issue. You wont need to disable the avatar via plugin settings before deactivate/uninstall.
However, I have no idea how jetpack sends that request to i1.wp.com ??

Hi there, thanks for fixing this issue, yes that’s strange especially because Jetpack is not even activated on my site.

    Regards
    Carsten
