    Hi,

After some time and no physical configuration changes Envira suddenly stopped working with the error “requested content cannot be loaded. Please try later”. I tried a new gallery but the same issue.

You can hover over the image and the image url via our CDN displays correctly but clicking the image placeholder itself throws the image.

    Please advise

    Thx

  • Hi there!

I’m seeing a few mixed-content console errors there related to what seems to be a change from http to https on the site. Basically, some of your images are pointed at a http URL, but, because the site is https, it’s causing some conflict. (You can see that your site “unlocks” or shows as not secure either by default or when you click on an image to open it in lightbox.) In our paid versions of the plugin, we have a Fix Broken Migration tool that fixes this, but, in Lite, I’d recommend using a free plugin, like Better Search Replace, to get that tidied up in one fell swoop (using the http address as the “old” address, and the https address as the “new”). Be sure to clear your cache afterward.

Also worth looking at? Go to your WordPress settings, go to General, and make sure that both fields for WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) show the https address, and save that. It’s important if you want to make sure your SSL certification takes hold.

I’ll look out for your reply.

    Hi @atdugan ,

thanks for such an extensive reply. Yes I had noticed that specifically on Firefox but wasn’t sure of the cause so thanks for the pointer.

To confirm with the Better Search Replace I just add ‘http’ in the search for and ‘https’ in the replace with field and I should be good to go? Which table do I select?

Yes I am trying to change the site & wordpress address but they’re greyed out and changing them in the wp-config.php locks me out. I’m on a bitnami instance on GC so will chase them up for that.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

I have corrected the site/wordpress url to https://www.mydomain.com. I tried Better Search Replace plugin on the wp_post/postmeta tables but no changes were made and I still cannot see my images.

    Please advise

    Thx

No success with Better Search Replace. I can now no longer view galleries in preview mode of elementor either. what was originally 4 columns and 7 rows of gallery images are now garbled and stacked all on one row.

Suggestions – delete plugin and start from scratch?

I have this issue aswell. I can’t see a reference to the image though when I inspect it? Any ideas please? Thank you in adavnce.

@lqcs @peacockcreativedesign @mercuriun @atdugan you need to replace https:// with https:// not part of https into httpss
