    Hi there,

    first of all, great plugin!

Trying it out on a cloned clients site, and I just want to export the files so that I can try it out, and set everything up before deploying. I have a WP install (v5.2.4) on Cloudways, security plugins are deactivated, installed the wp2static (6.6.6), set to export as ZIP, allow offline, then in “Crawling” I left everything as default other than setting “Detection level” to “Posts and pages only”. In “Processing” I have set to use relative URLs. Other than that, I have left it as default.

I run the site export, which takes a couple of minutes, and then I receive an alert that the zip file is ready. However, when I click on it, nothing happens (other than the download button disappearing).

In the error log, I can see the error: Requested log file not found.

Any tips on troubleshooting this one?

If I can get this working, I’ll definitely be going premium ??

  • Hi there, many thanks for your question.

Could you help me to try Enable debug mode (under Advanced options tab)? And look at the Export log, see if there is anything we can see there.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I gave that a try, but all the appears when I request a log file is the same error.

I’ve tried with all other plugins disabled.

Interestingly, another wp install on the same server seems to be working well (I’m yet to succeed with the deployment but it appears to be exporting correctly).

Shall I create a temporary admin login for you?

    Many thanks!

    Thanks for your help Frans.

For anyone else experiencing this issue, the solution is to change the website URL to HTTPS. go to wp-admin > Settings > General > and set the URLS for WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL)

    Thanks!
