Hi. This is a request to your Billing department for a refund. Your plugin works great, but logically it clashes with how I want to run my business, so I don’t need it and would like my money back. [Sorry about contacting you here in the support forum, but there seems to be no other place to contact you.]

I wanted WooCredit to only be used on Skype classes on my ESL site, and not on digital downloads or on membership. Credits would be easier to refund than money if the student had a complaint about the class. Then Paypal or Stripe would not have to be involved.

I was also trying to use WooCredit in packages such that if the customer buys in bulk they get a better deal.

Then, I wanted to be able to hire freelance teachers in the future. Freelancers have to be allowed to set their own price. If they set their price in credits, but the income earned on each credit varies depending upon which credit package had been sold to the student, then knowing how much to pay the freelance teacher would be a problem.

Even if that could be worked out, the freelance teachers would be setting their own prices, prices which would not necessarily use up the credits in a credit package. The leftover credits would carry over when a student chose to buy more credits, but for the student who does not wish to buy more, they are just leftover unusable credits. As a result, I would be getting many requests for partial refunds.

Logically, I hadn’t thought this through well enough, but went ahead and purchased the WooCredit Platinum plugin for one site for one year. I made this purchase Sept 14, 2017 (order #697). I would like to deactivate and uninstall the WooCredit Platinum plugin and get a refund, please.

Hi, thanks for post! As noted in other posts here, vast majority of our support happens at woocredits.supportico.us so feel free to contact there, if needed, in the future. You can also always contact us at the email address receipt was sent from if that helps. Unfortunately, we only provide refunds in instances where plugin doesn’t function as advertised and where we are unable to resolve.

Regarding the desired functionality in your post above, there is nothing limiting products to only digital downloads. With the Premium version you can price any Woo product (Simple, Variable, Subscription) in credits and it can be a virtual or real-world product.

Regarding refunding credits, we are currently implementing this feature and hope to release it in the next 30 days. Please keep an eye on our Twitter feed and Release Notes for this feature.

Regarding your statement, “I was also trying to use WooCredit in packages such that if the customer buys in bulk they get a better deal.” Unless, I am misunderstanding your intention, this is exactly what Credit Bundles are for. You set the number of credits you want to sell in a specific bundle, then specify a price for that bundle. Most people offer/price tiered packages such that the more credits you buy, the lower the cost per credit becomes.

The freelance issue would definitely need some planning and thinking through to effectively implement and manage on your end, however, is outside the scope of the features advertised in our plugin, although, I’m happy to discuss to offer any insight on ways you could potentially manage.

Thanks again for your post and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
