Require New Member Approval

The setting is under Ultimate Member > User Roles. Click to edit the specific user role. Then make sure that Registration Status is set to Require Admin Review.

I am sorry for hoping on this thread but it is a similar question that i have however I am trying to find out how to get the system to send an activation email with an activation link or login link, without automatically giving the user access to their profile after completing the registration page, I would like to send a custom email to the user so they know what we expect of them and vise versa. If you can help i would be very greatful

You may either require admin review or email activation if you don’t want new users to register automatically on your site. You may also customize the email that is sent by editing it. The setting is under Ultimate Member > Settings > Emails (for the emails). To set up a requirement for admin review or email activation, go to Ultimate Member > User Roles. Click to edit the specific user role. Then make sure that Registration Status is set to Require Admin Review or Require Email Activation.
