Required additional field not recognized

Hi seeker286, thanks for raising this, I’ll reproduce this later today and make a minor Plugin update if required. Is this happening just for Additional fields or for Billing and Shipping fields too?

Hi Visser, thanks for your quick response. We’re only using one Additional field, however I just tried adding a similar field to Billing and got the same result.

Hi seeker286, sorry for dropping that one, I tried to squeeze in as many code changes as possible in 2.0.3 (there were alot). I’ll get this into 4.0.4 release and have made a card on the new Trello support board.

Hi Sebi55, I’m sending the 4.0.4 Plugin update out now as it’s got a bunch of related changes and can look at this again as part of the 4.0.5 minor Plugin update if this persists.

I hope 4.0.4 fixes it. It would be great though if you are able to fix it soon (if it not fixed by 4.0.4) since it is pretty important for us.

So I tested the update and now the require box is ignored at all. I set it to required but it also works if it is not ticked it just lets me do the checkout.

Same as last release – users can proceed to checkout even without checking the “required” checkbox.

Hi Sebi55 and seeker286, there were alot of code changes in 4.0.4 but this wasn’t one them.
