Required Checkbox field in comments form causes error in admin comments

Hello.

I created a checkbox field that’s required for comments on the front end of my site. It works, but it causes issues in the admin comments section in the back-end of the site where I cannot respond to comments because it somehow requires it there too.
Hoping there will be a fix soon for that.
