I am trying to add new posts to a Pod on my employer’s website. The two required field within the post are ‘download link’ and ‘file size’. I have filled out both fields, but keep getting an error message that says “Download Link is empty” instead of the post being published.

When I go back to the post, the download link, file size, and custom URL fields are all empty despite the fact I clicked ‘publish’.

Someone has previously been able to create a large number of posts this way, but if I open an existing post and change it in any way, or just click ‘update’, I get the same error message despite the fact there is once again content in the download link field.

    Hello @paigemsb

What type of fields are these? File fields? And if so, please share your field settings.

    Cheers, Jory

    Hi @keraweb

They are Plain Text fields that are set as ‘required’. no other settings have been changed other than adding a character limit.

    Hi @paigemsb

Sorry, testing this locally. I couldn’t reproduce this behavior.
It might be a plugin compatibility issue.
Please read the following page and make sure the same error happens with only Pods active:
    https://docs.pods.io/faqs/plugin-theme-conflicts/

    Cheers, Jory

    Thanks,
