(Required field) in register form

How do I put ‘Required field’ after Username, Email and Password in the Register Form?
I have managed it after ‘First name’, ‘Last name’ and the last field ‘Please tell us a bit about . . .’ using the Documentation examples but cannot locate the coding for the other three.
Any suggestions on how I can add the missing 3 ‘Required field’ would be very much appreciated
