Required Fields and Conditional Logic

I have built a form with quite a few fields that have “show” conditionals on them, based upon a radio button setting (yes/no at the top of the page). When I attempt to submit the form, all the fields with conditional logic applied seem to ignore their “Is this field required?” setting. If I attempt to submit an empty form, the only fields that come up marked as required are those that do not have conditional logic applied.

I need to have both conditional logic and the ability to set fields as required, how do I go about fixing this? Btw, I have turned off all non-UM plugins and I have switched to the Twenty Fifteen template as recommended with no improvement.
