Required / Optional in countries

    Hi,

    I’d like to understand something: I made a list of countries where the field “VAT Number” should be mandatory.

    But when I try to place my order (I’m choosing France for example), I still can place it even if the field is empty. Why is that?

    I tried the same option on my end, and it behaves just as you described. It may indeed be a bug. I’ve reported this to our development team, and they’ll work on a fix. Once it’s resolved, we’ll get back to you with an update.

    We released a new plugin version today (v4.0.0) – the “Required / Optional in countries” option should work properly now.

    Please give it a try and let me know what you think.
