• So if something is required ( not allowed to hide the admin bar ), but plugin finds #wpadminbar in css which has nothing to do with hiding, even empty brackets it still reports it as hiding something. Well done developers, hope the rest of the checks which plugin does, actually make more sense, but who knows…..

    +1

We can not change the color of the admin bar because we can not use “#wpadminbar” in css. This is ridiculous.

Changing the colour of the admin bar is not allowed for themes on w.org.

Ok but why? I’m working on a BuddyPress theme and the admin bar is visible to all logged-in users in BuddyPress. So I think it is the part of the overall website design, right? Black doesn’t look good with all colors…

In most cases it is not needed. A BuddyPress theme is a valid exception. You can contact me on Slack if you have troubles uploading your theme. We hope to release a new Theme Check in June that will only check if you are hidden the admin bar with CSS. Any other CSS modifications will pass the automated test.

I’m glad to hear that. Thank you very much ??
