    1. That the plugin is useless unless you pay.
    2. The plugin will send you daily emails harassing you to pay.
    3. The plugin requires an account registration and API key to “call home”.

    Did not appreciate these surprises, and I have no proof that the plugin actually did what it claimed anyhow.

  • 1.) True, but they make it clear it’s just a 14 day trial from the very start.

    2.) I only got 1 such email in the 14 week trial period. And was a few days before the trial period ended. Even included 2 free months.

    And within the email is a link to disable any more emails from coming. Easy and industry standard.

    3.) How else would it work? It has to “call home” as you say to know if its spam or not? And tons of plugins require an API key. Mainly to stop people from abusing the system.

    Easy to know, look at your server logs. It’s the real deal. Or just test yourself. Plenty of easy tools out there to test. Just try and spam your own site.

    Anyhow, can’t stand when people give bad ratings because they don’t understand how a product works. And besides do you really expect these issues of yours to be addressed? Really! Wasting your time. I must be really boarded right now to even reply myself.

    About second complain, I don’t know why you had daily emails, usually the billing system sends only 2 emails in 2 weeks. So, please let me know your website name. I will check all outgoing emails for your account.
