I hate when plugin providers don’t mention that the plugin requires
    1. a registration on their website

    2. a paid subscription after a short trial

How hard can it be to mention this right away to save users time and anger? I would never subscribe to any service where the provider isn’t up front and transparent about their business model.

    Thanks for wasting my time.

@picturebreeze as an alternative, you can also click on the “Community Edition” section within our plugin which takes you to our self-hosted edition. when self-hosting your own Plausible instance, you don’t need to register for any accounts with us nor pay us any money ever. it is free as in beer and free as in speech too

I did not have this experience. 30 days is a nice long trial, and all it asked me for was my name and email… in order to use their service. I don’t understand why something so standard and patent as a service sign-up gets a 1-star review.
