We recently noticed that Certificates were no longer available within the Lessons > Certificates WordPress admin menu, and we’re getting an error on the admin dashboard that says:

Sensei LMS Certificates requires that the plugin Sensei (minimum version: 1.11.0) is installed and activated.

We’re getting a similar error for the “Sensei LMS Media Attachments” plugin. We do have the main Sensei plugin (v. 1.6.4) installed and activated. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating all 3 plugins, but that didn’t help. Any idea what might be going on here?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide!

  • Hi,

As per the message, you need to have at least Sensei LMS 1.11.0 installed. You are currently using a much older version (1.6.4). You’ll need to upgrade Sensei LMS in order for the extensions to work, as they are not backward compatible with such an old version of Sensei.

    Thx.

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for the response – I’m sorry, I misread the “1.11.0” as “1.1.1,” which is why I was so confused. I did upgrade Sensei, and although I did have to rebuild a few quizzes, everything seems to be working as expected again. Thank you!
