Recently all my popups require two click before opening. On the first click I get the following error:

Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href*=#]
        at Function.Sizzle.error (jquery-1.12.4.js:1502)
        at Sizzle.tokenize (jquery-1.12.4.js:2159)
        at Function.Sizzle [as find] (jquery-1.12.4.js:872)
        at jQuery.fn.init.find (jquery-1.12.4.js:2826)
        at front.min.js?ver=2.3.6:1
        at Object.n.initContainer (front.min.js?ver=2.3.6:1)
        at Object.n.activateContainer (front.min.js?ver=2.3.6:1)
        at window.DiviAreaItem.focus (front.min.js?ver=2.3.6:1)
        at Object.n.reOrderAreas (front.min.js?ver=2.3.6:1)
        at Object.t.show (front.min.js?ver=2.3.6:1)

Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?

    Hello @jacovh39,

    Apologize for the inconvenience!

I did check this locally but failed to produce this error. Can you provide the following information to assist you better?

    1) What is the URL of the website?
    2) Where do I need to click to trigger the Popup?
    3) Any screen capture, you want to share.

Please do get back to me, in-case of any query.

    Regards,
    Syed

    Hello @juanalvaro @jax2000 @jacovh39,

I debugged the issue in detail and yes it is due to an old version of wordpress. Updating to the latest would surely solve the problem. In the past year, WP gradually updated from jQuery 1.12 to jQuery 3.5. Our plugin is compatible/tested with jQuery 3.5 and the JS error is caused due to the outdated jQuery version.

Please do get back to me, in-case of any query.

    Regards,
    Syed
