Requiring a URI on comments

  • I HATE comments from people that do not provide a website when they comment… is there a way to make the Website feild mandatory?

  • And what about those that do NOT have a website? They are not allowed to comment on your site?

    You’d probably have to hack core to change that….

    no one so far, that has commented on my blog, does not have one, they usually hide it in their email without putting in a website. I just want the option to deter “anonymous” comments a bit.

    I realize that there is always the https://www.biteme.com kids, but I figure that if you’re that determined, your comment will be blocked anyway.
