Resend Confirmation Email Doesn't Send

Hello,

About a month ago I tried to sign up for a wordpress.com blog site. I decided to use another blogging site and never clicked on the confirmation email. When I tried to start blogging on wordpress again, WordPress tells me to resend a confirmation email. I click this button, but the email doesn’t send. And yes, I have checked my spam inbox.

Anyone know what could be happening? Thanks!
