    I have approved a booking/order and the customer did not receive an email with the payment link. Under Orders>Status which action do I click on to resend.

    The easiest way is install this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
    under tools->mail log you can see all emails triggering from WordPress system. first, check whether an email is sent without any error. if any error is showing then it means your WordPress system has some issue sending emails. If there is no error probably you customer mail host has some issue. May be email is landed in the spam folder.

    for resending email just tick on the check box and select resend option from bulk option dropdown.

    Hi, thanks for that.

    If I select resend new order notification it sends an email to me.

    I need to resend the order approved notification with the payment link as a reminder.

    All emails will be logged into wp mail log. So you have to select an appropriate email to resend. Your case there will be an email triggering when the order is approved. so select that email for resending which contain the payment link. for remainder option you have do some custom coding.
