    Plugin: StageShowGold
    Version: 6.2.5
    Gateway: PayPal
    PHP: 5.5.22

We have a reservation line where people can call in and make a reservation for our shows.
They then pay at the door.
To BUY a ticket, we send people online to use our StageShow plugin at TredAvonPlayers.org.

I have set certain people (including the admin) with rights to make reservations after fielding the calls on the reservation line.
I then set the Reservation Mode to “User Form (logged In)”

The reservation button appears in the shopping cart when a ticket is selected.
However, when the reservation button is clicked, it reloads the page, but nothing happened, no form appears.

StageShowHelp.pdf (Updated 20/09/2016) talks about reservations in 15.2 and 15.2.1, but really doesn’t address the “User Form (logged In)” setting.

This is the last item to get to work, please help me make this work, as we have reservations streaming in on the phone….

    Thank you,

Note: I have made sure the admin role (which I’m testing this with) has access to all of the following:
    StageShow_Admin
    StageShow_Reservations
    StageShow_Sales
    StageShow_Setup
    StageShow_Testing
    StageShow_Validate
    StageShow_ViewSettings

I’ve retested the “User Form (logged In)” mode, and can confirm that there is a problem … the page just reloads when you click Reserve in the Box Office.

I’ll get to work on a fix, but in the mean time, as a workaround, you can use the “Add Sale” option on the Sales admin page to add a sale manually, just remembering to change the sale Status to “Reserved”.

    Great, Thank you.

One additional question: We also have Comps (2 per actor) and Season ticket holders (who have already purchased their tickets. In both cases, a Reservation would need to be put in the system. yet when the patron sows up, they WON’T need to pay onsite.

Can I add additional sale statuses? How best to reflect them so they get a confirmation email and the front door person knows whether to collect moneys onsite?

    Thanks for any input….

You can add an entries to the Prices for a show setting the price set to zero and “Visibility” to Admin Only. You could create two such entries with (say) Ticket Type set to “Complementary” and “Season” and this will allow you to add a (manual) sale with a zero cost seat that is a Completed sale, so nothing to pay on the day.

The confirmation email will be generated in the usual way and will include the “Ticket Type” in the details.

You are “DA Man”, Malcolm. One last question about this.
I’ve set up two addition items per your suggestion:

“You can add an entries to the Prices for a show setting the price set to zero and “Visibility” to Admin Only. You could create two such entries with (say) Ticket Type set to “Complementary” and “Season”…”

I give certain folk the admin rights, and they can go into the regular ticket page, and set people up with reservations retrieved from the phone reservation line.

But what if I don’t want to collect the snail-mail address?
Or if I want it to autofill with the default for the organization.
Can I easily change the required fields?
Or does one of the drop downs in the reservation set up allow it to autofill?

Thanks for all your help. Let me know if I can ever help one of your “clients” with set up or execution of your plugin.

    I’d be happy to help.

    /Patrick
