reserve a spot

I am trying to find a plugin to reserve a spot and I use this one on one of the sites I admin. I know it can remove an available event that is full.

My thoughts were these
1. use it with any generic date in the future.
2. say there are 10 spots available
3. each of the 10 correalates to a particular seat number (ie: booking tickets for shows)
4. if the person selects the seat then it is no longer available to another.

I know I can hide the calendar, and I know I can just list the events, In fact I could make a recurring and then rename them each for whatever seat number they are reserving and then have only one. It’s a lot of work however to rename each recurring and I would have to do a lot of rigamarole.

I’m just throwing this out there in case you know of a plugin that can do this or as an idea for feature request as you could also pick up by having your event plugin do seat bookings. Just saying.That is a more popular idea, in fact I’m looking for somethign that they can book a booth number for a tradeshow and once that booth is gone no one else can get it. But I notice that seat booking, ticket booking does the same kind of thing and there are a few of them around although none of them work right. ??
