Reserved inventory from unpaid order

    Hello
    Could it work so that after an unsuccessful (unpaid) order the order goes to the basket/trash? Because I have a reserved hours in inventory from this order, even when it is not paid.

  • Hi there Lukas,

    If I understood you correctly, you’d like to know what is an expected behaviour for unpaid orders when they are trashed in terms of stock.

    Typilcally, stock is held for items in Pending payment orders for as long as what you have in Hold stock (minutes) setting in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory.

    If you trash your Pending payment order, items won’t be restocked automatically – I’ve just tested it and confirm the behaviour.
