Hi All, we are trying to add a button that resets the answer a student has input when it was the incorrect answer.

e.g. a student selects the incorrect answer, clicks the check answer button and then it gives them a button that they can click to reset their response on that question. This loops until they get the correct answer at which point they can move on.

Any help with this would be much appreciated, we have a tried the API but can’t get this to work.

    Hi tylervohland,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Based on your description, it sounds like you’re looking to add an advanced feature that isn’t natively available in LearnPress, involving specific answer-reset functionality for incorrect responses. This would require a more customized implementation.

To help you explore this further, we recommend creating a free support ticket through our official forum. Our team can review the specifics and discuss possible solutions in more depth.

Please visit our forum, click on Support, and create a ticket with a subject like “tylervohland – Reset Answer Button At Question Level” Our development team will be happy to take a closer look and suggest the best approach.

    Thank you for your understanding!

Hi I tried to access support on the website but it says the page wasn’t able to be found for LearnPress.

The other thing we could do for this if it is easier is have a button that checks if the answer is correct or not without submitting them?

    Hi tylervohland,

    Thank you for your response!

Currently, LearnPress does offer a feature that allows checking answers while taking a quiz. However, the existing logic will show both correct and incorrect answers when a student checks, meaning they can’t retry individual questions without seeing the answers.

The feature you’re looking for would require adjustments to this logic, making it an advanced customization that falls outside the scope of this forum’s support. We recommend accessing our forum where we can discuss your requirements in greater depth and work on a tailored solution.

Please visit our support forum and create a ticket with a subject like “tylervohland – Reset Answer Button At Question Level” Our team will be glad to take a closer look and suggest the best approach for you.

    Thank you for your understanding!
