    In order to see ‘Reset’ button you should open Users->User Role Editor with these conditions:
    1) at WordPress single site installation or main site of WordPress multisite or by superadmin at the Network Admin of WordPress multisite;
    2) user should have ‘ure_reset_roles’ capability.

    Use ‘Reset’ button carefully, pay attention on the warning message it shows. If you have plugins which use custom capabilities or roles they can stop work after reset as all non-WP-default roles and capabilities will be deleted.

    Dear Vladimir, Thanks for your reply.

    I’m working with a multisite installation and I’m logged in as superadmin. On the network level Users->User Role Editor doesn’t show up. Do I need to acitvate this option? I also granted ‘ure_reset_roles’ capability to the administrator role. But the ‘Reset’ button still doesn’t show up. Any other ideas?

    Thanks for your help!

    You are right. URE is available at ‘Network admin -> Users’ just in Pro version.
    What about the main site ‘Users->User Role Editor’, when you logged in as a superadmin?

    At the main site of the network, the button is available at ‘Users->User Role Editor’. At any other site of the network it won’t show up. Do I also need the Pro version for that?
