Reset Cart After Redirection" not working as expected?

Hello and first of all thanks for a great plugin.

I have an issue related with the option “Reset Cart After Redirection to Return Page“.

I was expecting the cart to save the desired product, allowing the visitor to put more than one product in cart per time, and finally purchase them all together. And only then undergo a reset.

Instead, if I check “Reset Cart After Redirection to Return Page“, once the visitor click on the purchase button for a product, he’s redirected to the cart for finalizing the purchase (and that’s ok).

But if he moves away for any reason without buying the product as direct following action (let’s say he wants to add more products in cart) the cart is reset to zero, and he has to repopulate the cart from scratch.

Which is extremely confusing if you want my opinion.

So my question is, did I misunderstood the option? Or it works a bit ectic by itself?

ps. My Return Page is not the homepage, or the product page, but a specific page /thank-you – but the cart undergo a reset no matter page I’m visiting.
