Reset license key

    Sometimes we just make a copy of a WordPress website. But this causes the Wordfence license key to be duplicated on multiple websites. How can we reset the Wordfence license key so that each website has its own key?

    Hi @hackedunit, thanks for getting in touch.

    When Wordfence is activated it should seek a license from our servers, but with a cloned site, that key may remain from the origin. To prevent problems going forward, we recommend following the instructions to remove/reset the plugin to obtain a fresh key.
