Reset Search

  • Hey,

    we love your plugin and would love to have here a little bit assistant – maybe you can help us out with a filter.

    When somebody search for a state or city, your locator zooms in perfectly. But we need something that reset the map to standard selection.

    At this moment the map zooms in to the location searched. But even when we clear the search, the maps does not reset to standard view (zoom out).

    Can you provide us with something that when we clear the search field even the map will me reset to standard view? Or exist any “reset”-button we can apply and use?

    At this moment:
    1.) user search “new york”
    2.) Map zooms in to “new york”
    3.) When the User clear “new york” from search field or zoom out still new york results are shown only

    Asked:
    1.) user search “new york”
    2.) Map zooms in to “new york”
    3.) user clear search
    4.) Map resets to standard view before 1.)

    It would be cool to know how to place the reset Button maybe next or into the Input field of search.

    Hi there!

    Maybe you overlooked this, but actually there is a “Reset map” setting (see screenshot). This will create a reset button in the map (that you can probably reposition later via CSS) that will return the map to the default configuration when it first loaded.

    I hope that does the trick for you, let us know otherwise.
