reset the blogg?

  • hi! i have a big problem.. i have made my blogg todat but now when i was working with it i noticed that i dont work! https://www.meiio.se

    i dont know what i have done wrong.. first it looks good but if you try too press a link or something it wont work. im not at all good at this so pelase help me. the path betewwn the documents are all wrong or something. is there anyway i cn reset the blogg? i dont mind because its so new.. plese look at it and tell me… you can add me on my msn too if you want.

    If you’re seriously trying to reset the blog, then

    1. Delete all the files in your wordpress directory.
    2. Delete all the wordpress tables in your database.

    It will be completely and entirely gone, leaving no trace that it ever existed on your server.

    Then install it again.

    If you need guidance on a particular step, you may want to ask a more specific questions…

    i dont know hoow to delete files in a database.. im trying to tell you that i nkow nothign:( thats why i need help. can i have anyones msn, it much easyer that to write here..=/ i you think its so simple why cant you guide me.. its the install i dont remember.

    okey, please tell me this. can i just erase the files from my ftp (the wordpress map) and then put it back ? must i do anything with the database?

    I did a simpler approach to resetting the blog.

    Call me lazy but I didn’t want to erase all the WP files on my webserver because for me that’s a lot of work and could take some time. This also saves you the trouble of trying to remember what tweaks you had done on your theme files (.CSS & .PHP) if you used the web interface extensively.

    What I recommend is to:

    1. Delete the database from your webserver.

    !!! Remember that this also deletes all entries on your blog !!!

    2. Create the same database and user credentials (if needed).
    3. Run install.php again

    That will initialize the database (again) and will put your blog back to the “Hello world!” state.
