Hi, when i initially set up the Yoast i had only one author. After a few years, we have more authors.

I remember at some point we had to choose if there is only one author or more. I selected only one at that time.

Now I’m trying to reconfigure the wizard but it looks different the configuration wizard, it has probably been updated since then.

And here i cannot see where i select multiple authors.

And one question regarding this for a new website i will launch next week, if there is a website with multiple authors and i want to show different schema for each author, do i need to select “author” instead of “organization” in the knowledge graph & schema.org?

Or it should be organization? When should i use them?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Traveltrained,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your author schema.

We now have the first-time configuration which you can restart by installing the Yoast Test Helper plugin. Next navigate to WordPress > Tools > Yoast Test > Reset First time configuration progress

The option you choose in WordPress > SEO > Search Appearance > General > Knowledge Graph & Schema.org is important. For Knowledge Graph & Schema.org, since you have multiple authors, you should choose “Person” and not “Organization”. This data is shown as metadata on your site. It is intended to appear in Google’s Knowledge Graph. Each author on a site has a unique identifier and the “Person” schema needs an ID with the site’s home URL plus this identifier.
