Reset timer on manual slide change

Hi, I built my plugin to use the Owl Carousel 2 slider engine:

(so my plugin is effectively a tool/wrapper for generating Owl Carousel 2 sliders)

So this does look like a limitation in OC, but I did some digging and came across this:

So you need to add the following JavaScript to your theme:

var sa_owl;
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
   sa_owl = $("#SLIDER_ID").owlCarousel({
   });
   SA_owl.on('changed.owl.carousel', function(e) {
      sa_owl.trigger('stop.owl.autoplay');
      sa_owl.trigger('play.owl.autoplay');
   });
});

(replace ‘SLIDER_ID‘ with the CSS ID for your SA Slider)

Nothing further I can add here, and no feedback on whether my suggested solution (above) worked, so I’m closing this topic.
