Resetting Two-Factor Authentication for WordPress Slack Account

    Hi,

    A couple of years ago, I joined the wordpress.slack.com team using my www.ads-software.com account; I also enabled two-factor authentication via Google Authenticator. Unfortunately, I lost access to my codes when I reset my smartphone at the time. (Yes, ’twas foolish, indeed!) I’d love to get in touch with an admin from the Slack group to see if they could help me reset 2FA on the account as I can no longer log-in to the Slack team via my www.ads-software.com account. When trying to reset my 2FA via Slack, it always says to ask an admin from the WordPress Slack team for help. I would have contacted a Slack admin directly, but I could not find a way to do so. Once I get in touch with someone, I’ll be happy to provide the details needed to identify my account.

    Hi Jan,

    I just received an email from a Slack admin saying he reset my account for me. I’ve since been able to log-in successfully.

    Thank you so much for your help! I’m quite glad that it got worked out.
