Resize existing images in media library

    I just found this plugin which is very helpful to make sure, that uploaded images do stay within a reasonable size. However on the affected site already many images got uploaded before the plugin was installed and many are way too big (for example 2000×1900 pixels with 4-5 MB) and should be resized as well. Since we talk about more than 300 images, checking every image manually and re-uploading it and ajdusting existing links (which can not be done automatically since custom post types are used) would be a very tedious job. Is there any way to resize existing images with this or any other of your plugins?

    Yes, of course, you can achieve that with ShortPixel Image Optimizer. It has a “Resize large images” option that you can use with the bulk optimization feature to resize all your existing media ??
