    Gallery have strange behavior: in general gallery settings I have set four columns for every gallery layouts, but on page with gallery I see gallery grid with three columns of the thumbnails. Why?

    Just make sure that you have enough space on your page for the gallery with four columns. The reason of behavior described in your post could be in size of this location or image size.
    In the case if you have big images it’s could take some time for loading as result you can see such thumbnails layout changes at the same time if it’s switch to three columns try to change gallery width to 90%, for example, for testing.
