    Hey you guys! First I’d like to commend you for a wonderful plug in.

    I need your advise on resizing the hover strip.

    Here’s my settings: Text – On, byline – nothing. Making the hover strip a big interference with the preview images.

    1. How to disable the thumbnails links? I tried the No link to the preview image in the post itself, but no luck.

    2. How to change the font?

    3. Any advise about the Social Media share for individual photo on hover?

    Hi there. What do you mean exactly by hover strip? If you mean the byline (ie. the area that shows the title and the date), you can modify the appearance by adding styles to your css. Apply them to .wp-tile-container .grid .tile-byline.

    You can change the font the same way. It currently defaults to your website font – Helvetica in your case (on your site: font: 13px/1.65em "HelveticaNeue","Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;). You can change the font for WP Tiles specifically, by applying css to .wp-tile-container.

    Getting share buttons on the images is more involved. There is currently no easy way to add that to the tiles, but in the future I hope to make this easier!

    hi! Thank you so much for the response. Yes, I’m talking about the byline.

    should I need to create a child theme for this? Or just apply the code modifications to the current theme css?

    Well, changing your current theme may be tempting, but it means that you can never update your theme again (as your changes will be overwritten) and is considered bad practice.

    Creating a child theme just for these two or three rules is probably overkill, especially if you don’t have much experience using child themes.

    The easiest way would be to use a plugin that allows you to quickly add custom css, like Jetpack. Just drop the few lines in there and you’re done!

    unfortunately, jetpack is not compatible with my theme –> Themeforest-Abundance.
