Resize image and link to full-size?

  • How can I create an easy process for my authors who are not technically savvy to upload an image and a thumbnail be placed inside the post that links to a full-size image? I’d rather not use a plugin, but if I have to, use one that I can depend on.

    It’s not linking to the full-size image for me. If I select a thumbnail size, that’s all I get in the post. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

    When inserting an image, remember to select a Link to option (File or Post). That will automatically make the inserted thumbnail a link to a larger version of the same image.
