I am trying to figure out a way to automatically resize images uploaded to posts through Gravity Forms during (and not after) the upload, similar to what happens with Imsanity.

    WordPress version: 3.8.1
    Gravity Forms Directory version: 1.8.3

I did this: I bought and installed RCWD Upload for Gravity Forms, having asked the developer if this was a function that the additional plugin would do. In spite of the developer’s continued support, RCWD does not appear capable of doing what I need. My website is being used primarily for uploading photos by people who do not have a lot of computer knowledge or time (teachers) and I would like to be able to offer them a service which makes things as quick and simple as possible.

I have little coding skills, so am not sure how to make use of Imsanity (or other image resizers) from the front end of one of my Gravity Forms forms. I’ve tried reading through previous posts both here and on the Gravity Forms forums, but have not found anything that has worked for me.

Would be hugely grateful if someone could give me some guidance.

  • Sorry, no guidance from me, just the same issue. Wanting to buy RCWD as well. Why doesn′t RCWD fit the need? One the website there is written clientside and serverside resize of images. Gravity forms gives no support on that issue, told me to hire a freelancer…

hi Toni, you have 2 thinks to do if you want to fix it:

    1) go to your BACKOFFICE -> SETTINGS -> PERMALINKS
no need to click something, just go there and permalink structure of rcwd upload will be fixed

If the problem is not resolved:

    2) check your htaccess file, for sure you have something strange it that file that overwrite the rewrite rule needed.

Sent the htacess file to rcwd upload support, along with a list of your installed plugins.
