Resize Medium size existing images

Hi, have you tried Regenerate Thumbnails plugin?

Thank you for your answer. This plugin would be ok, but it changes the file name. I want to overwrite existing Medium images, but Regenerate Thumbnails create an only new item.

It has delete unused size images feature now.
I would search-replace file names after regenerate them.

Do you search-replace file names manually or with the plugin?

I would use command line tool, wp-cli, but you can use plugins like
Search Regex.
