• Hi I have set
    – Original image (overwritten by compressed image) ..(+ medium and thumbnail)
    and – Resize the original image to 1000×1000

    But client in admin upload huge pictures like 4000×2000 px etc. And I do not see in FTP any version with one side = 1000 px and there is original picture. This problem I have on every web. What am I doing wrong?
    I do not have any other plugin for work with images.
    I am using free plan and have hundreds compressions left.

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    The settings that you describe should be fine, and they should resize newly uploaded images to a maximum of 1000px in width and height. It however doesn’t resize existing images automatically.

    In the list view of your media library in WordPress you can see the details per image. It would help if you can upload a new image in WordPress that’s larger than 1000px in width and compress that image using the settings you described. Then once it’s compressed click on the “Details” link in the “Compression” column of your media library and create a screenshot of it and send it to us. If the image was larger than the configured limits it should show something similar to https://ibb.co/hZ2qr5f. If it’s easier, you can also contact us at [email protected]
