Hi, thank you for letting me know! More details would help a lot, if possible.

For instance could you tell me the shortcode you are using? (without the Google API key)

This plugin makes a call to Google servers for each drag&drop when resizing the window, so it might be also a network issue when lots of requests are made per second (like in the case when the user resizes the window very fast, larger, smaller, larger, larger, smaller very fast)

I video recorded a quick test using Firefox, with New York as address and it seems that when resizing, the address is still shown correctly:

    Thank you!

[resmap address=”street address, city, st, zip” style=”2″ zoom=”10″ height=”300px” width=”385px” icon=”yellow” key=”123Key”] – this short code is entered into a widget, and display correctly on initial load. after resizing the scree, it shows a random location (always the same one). The map may show correctly if screen is resized again, or may not, seems random. When using lat/long we don’t seem to have this issue – however, the lat and long are shown in the white address box rather than the address or company name. We can do this if there is a “title” short to show instead of just the lat/long. Thank you

What type of plugin are you using?

The free one does not have the “width” and “icon” parameters.

If you are using the commercial plugin (which has the “width” and the “icon” parameters) please contact me via the contact form on Envato: https://codecanyon.net/user/greenline#contact so that I can verify the purchase code.

I do not offer any kind of help or support for the commercial plugin downloaded from warez and ha***cking websites.

So our site was initially developed by an outside developer (Love Local Design – https://www.lovelocaldesign.com) who purchased and installed into our site during development. We took over once we had a developer of our own, so we don’t actually have an purchase code. I presume (not sure) they use it in many of their web installations that need a map. We did not get the plugin from a improper source and are no longer working with Love Local. Please advise.

Hi Laura, I can understand this.
I think the best way and the fastest method to find the solution is to see the live website, it might be a javascript conflict with another plugin or with the theme. Maybe that is causing the map to behave like that on your website. I will check, but please send me a link to the website here or in private at [email protected] Thank you!
