I assume you have set “Click on Photo Behavior” to “Colorbox” right. And we are talking about the “zoomed” images that appear as a “pop up” when you click on a photo from a gallery, right?
That popup is done with colorbox and it dynamically resizes to the required need based on the target photo. There is currently no way to have it a “fixed size” by default.
How should a feature like that behave? Strech to small windows? Have a wide padding/margin arround the small photo?
I believe the current solution is fine for most cases.
Try to keep your target photos as even sized as possible.
I close this as “resolved” (won’t fix) now. But more input on your ideas are welcome – maybe there is a way I currently do not see.
Bonus hint: You can use the arrow keys to “walk” through a gallery – so there is no need to click on the “previous” and “next” arrows then the popup size changes.
