• resizing post titles, taking out WordPress links & background customization.

    Hello & thank you.
    The developers for the platform i am using have decided to stop supporting it https://peacenetlive.com so i am in the process of exporting it now.

    1.Is there a plugin to make the post titles smaller without having to use css? also how can i change The COLOR OF THE POST Tittles to match the color of the header text?
    2.is there a plugin that will take out the WordPress link’s?

    3. How can i make the background a different color like the one on my current blog to look like the same. i changed it in the widget menus but it isn’t showing on the site?
    https://peacenet1.com

    i would rather try finding a plugin instead of css?

    so this is where i have changed the entry tittles to the posts

    pixel from 34px to 20 px

    .entry-title {
    font-size: 20px;
    font-weight: 300;
    line-height: 1.0909090909;
    margin-bottom: 12px;
    margin: 0 0 12px 0;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    now how do i reduce the space between each individual posts? is that called padding???

    What theme are you using? Where did you download it from? Are you using a child theme or a custom CSS plugin?

    (@peacenetlivecom)

    i am using (twenty fourteen) from word press

    .entry-title {
    	font-size: 20px;
    	font-weight: 300;
    	line-height: 1.0909090909;
    	margin-bottom: 12px;
    	margin: 0 0 12px 0;
    	text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    .entry-title a {
    	color: #2b2b2b;
    }

    .entry-title a:hover {
    	color: #41a62a;
    }

    .site-content .entry-header {
    	background-color: #fff;
    	padding: 0 10px 12px;
    }

    .site-content .has-post-thumbnail .entry-header {
    	padding-top: 24px;
    }

    Also is this where i can make the font on the post tittle bold?

    whats the css for that????

    these are the plugins in have installed but the text resizers do not work for the post tittles only for entered text on the posts.

    Are you using a child theme or a custom CSS plugin?

    Thread Starter PeaceNetLive.com

    (@peacenetlivecom)

    i don’t know if its a child theme or custom plugin. its a free version called twenty four.

    Do not edit the Twenty Fourteen theme. It is the current default WordPress theme and having access to an original, unedited, copy of the theme is vital in many situations. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

    Thread Starter PeaceNetLive.com

    (@peacenetlivecom)

    but what if i have changed edited the default theme a little already? now what do i do. should i try to re input the old data to the default template?

    You could re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the theme’s folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    do u have a custom css plugin you recommend? there are so many ?

    Thread Starter PeaceNetLive.com

    (@peacenetlivecom)

    is there a plugin that will resize the post text within the title and not just the bodie?

    Thread Starter PeaceNetLive.com

    (@peacenetlivecom)

    So i have decided to just input the original data into the default template since it is only one line and the other ftp method etc more time consuming. “any thought’s on this?”
    instead of a child’s template, I have installed, Custom CSS Manager Version 1.5.2 | By MyWebsiteAdvisor
    is this sufficient? and if so now how can i make the posts closer together & the background a different color other than white?
    Also when clicking on categories, the old blog indexes the blog post’s as link’s instead of opening up a page where the videos’ show? is there a plug in that will categorize the posts’ as link’s Page instead of video page?

    trying to make the new site https://peacenet1.com

    look similar too the Old site
    https://peacenetlive.com

    please advise. thank you. eddie
