Resizing the step filter

Hey there,
first of all thank you for that amazing plug in.
I am planning on buying the premium version, if i am going to manage to set up everythink as required.

I implemented the Step by Step Filter 1 on my Frontpage. It is working and the filter filters but now i want to rezize the the overall container of it, so that there is not a huge gap that users have to scroll through. I will include screenshots for you: Here are the screenshots

I manage to do the following: set the max height off the different section and it worked, but i am not able to get rid of the space. Please see the screenshots above.

Please note that i am a beginner in CSS. I thaught the few lines I know by myself.
