That’s not an evidence, because you’re just inspecting the code, that has a lot of different URLs. You should inspect the “Network” to see what image file was loaded. Do you understand what I mean?

You were completely right. The CDN is not serving this image:
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/lDWknmgir30/maxresdefault.jpg
And actually any image from i.ytimg.com.

FIFU uses the same CDN provided by Jetpack.
– Pros: it’s free.
– Cons: it doesn’t work 100% and we have zero control over that.

For this reason we’ve released FIFU Cloud. It was announced today, in the version 3.8.1.
– Cons: it can’t be free, because it uses Google Cloud infrastructure, that’s not free.
– Pros: it will work 100% and we will be able to fix any problems.

You will be redirected to
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9CyPFlLr8V0/maxresdefault.jpg

The redirection to the original image means that the CDN can’t process/serve that.

So your site will try to access the first address, that won’t return an image, but will redirect the request to the second address. Because a huge image is better than no image.
